Let's get the ball rolling...

The first step to getting super duper beautifully long hair is to book the initial consultation ! This is possibly the most important stage of the process if you've never had hair extensions fitted by me before as it allows me to see your hair and basically what i'll be working with ! By seeing what condition your hair is in , the texture , thickness , colour , length and your lifestyle / haircare habits , I can give my best recommendations to which are the perfect extensions for you :) Of course I understand often price factors will be the major influence for which type of hair you choose and I will never pressurise you in anyway . But if you want your extensions to look natural and the best they can it's important to listen to what I have to say :) I have different colour rings for the various grades of hair available to get the exact perfect match to the company they come from , and don't forget you can have as many colour combinations as you wish ! By adding a mix of colour , even if it's just one shade lighter or darker , it will give a natural finish and create a slight highlight and depth to the tone . A consultation will also give you the chance to ask me as many questions as you wish , I appreciate extensions can be very confusing if your a novice and still slightly unsure , so i'll do my best to answer everything !

  Now for the best bit , getting them fitted...

Ooo the exciting part ! A date for your fitting will have been chosen during the consultation and all the preparation you need to do before hand explained ( if there's anything you've forgotten or just want to refresh your memory visit the preparation page ! ) I can usually have the hair to fit in as little as two days after the consultation , however if you require an urgent fitting this can be arranged , please contact me for further details . Please allow up to 4 hours for me to fit and style your lovely new extensions , although it usually doesn't take this long please take it into consideration if you make any other plans as it saves any rushing around !.

 Keep them in tip top condition...

To keep your extensions looking b-e-a-uuutifully stunning then it's recommended you keep on top of them by having maintenance appointments . Of course not every one will need one as different natural hair types , aftercare routines and fitting methods will all play a part in how well they keep , but it does help them last better for the duration they're in :) I can go into what will happen in more detail during your consultation if you have any questions , but as a general rule maintenance is usually required 6-8 weeks after the initial fitting date , and don't worry if your unsure of when you know to need it , your extensions will usually let you know when they're ready ! Maintenance appointments usually take between 1 - 2 hours .

 Sadly they're gonna have to go sometime... :(

I'm going to apologise now as this is the worst part ! Losing your extensions can actually be a  heartbreaking experience  , but for the health of your own natural hair it has to be done !! The hair you have in may still feel in great condition , but because of the way the extensions are attached to your natural hair , if you leave them in for too long your going to start creating all sorts of problems . I guess this is where the horror stories you found on google come back in , and sadly if you choose to leave your extensions in for months and months they could come true ! If you leave the same set of extensions in for too long your going to get matting , tangling , sores on the scalp and potentially more bald spots than Katie Price ! Now please note NON of my clients have experienced this ( sorry if I scared you for a minute ! ) but if you don't follow the correct aftercare and don't get them removed after the recommended 3-4 months , it could be your hair that's left in this state ! If the hair is still in great condition the extensions can easily be refitted back in after a weeks breather :) Your hair will thank you for it ! Removal will take up to 1 hour with micro rings and up to 2 hours if fusion bonded .
